Sooooooo good. Staff were excellent, food was excellent! Wonderful experience and last meal in Dallas before returning home.
Croque madam is usually greasy and heavy, but this one was on point! Chicken and waffles were my favorite! Tender, crispy, juicy chicken and chewy soft waffles, plus an added bonus of crunchy bacon were perfect together. The free bread they start you out with saved the day, as my toddler needed something right away.
We grabbed a while banana nut bread for the flight home. It was delicious even few days after!

    Updated

One of the higher ups of the company actually called me and apologized and said that it was very not common of what their service is like which is true because I've also had excellent service there and she reached out to me

Usually when we come here its a great experience. Today must have been the exception. First we waited 40 mins for a table which I totally understand because it is brunch no issue there. Once we are seated which was in the corner like dogs which I GET since its busy no issue there. Our waiter (Reza, he never introduced himself I had to  ask for that name) what we wanted he seemed like he was busy and in a rush to have us decide what we wanted which I understand but it doesn't make it right. We never got our table bread when he told us a half hour ago that we would have it. Never came to the table to ask us how we were doing or if we wanted anything. Bread still did not arrive. He sees us visually looking at him trying to get his attention and he still does not ask or bring bread. Finally I ask a manager if the waiter is either in a bad mood or just busy and uninterested and she looks stunned. She comes over with a coffee refill and cinnamon bun which I appreciate. The food arrives several minutes later and my plate arrives ICE COLD. I tell the waiter and he just grabs the plate and doesn't apologize or explain. The managers deff were apologizing but he acted as if nothing happened and ignored us. The waiter should apologize and make it right. He did nothing of the sort. They offered to remake the dish but from my experience I dont eat a plate that a chef is told to remake because its cold for obvious reasons. They then tell me that it was the waiters off day and he had to work. NOT MY FAULT. we come here every sunday. Today is our last visit here a

Sunday brunches are tough because literally everyone goes to them. We ended up here after two other places and decided to bite the bullet and wait the 30 minutes. And all of 30 minutes it was. You can park at a lot behind the restaurant and parking will be validated.

We got seated outside, not my favorite but I was hungry and at least there were cute dogs outside. We ordered chicken fried steak and French toast and were happy with both. Service was good, they don't drop your food and never see you again. We enjoyed the meal and had been eyeing the dessert menu.

We asked for two cookies and a peanut butter bar to go. I was so sad at home to see I was given the wrong dessert, I still ate it because I had paid for it but missed the peanut butter dessert I had picked out. I would come back here next time we are back in Dallas.

This is a super cute brunch spot located in uptown. I stopped in one Saturday morning before a long day of walking/shopping.

This place offers large portions and great service for a reasonable price. The complimentary muffins was a nice touch and something different. I ordered the breakfast club while my friends got the chicken and waffles, and one of the scrambles. The chicken and waffles was definitely the fan favorite amongst the three of us. The portion of the scramble was huge but a little on the messy side, although my friend said it tasty great. the menu has a great variety for any and every one. If I'm back in the area I would try the chicken and waffles again. My favorite part was the pineapple upside down mimosa!

This place seems to be extremely popular for brunch/lunch as there was a bunch of people waiting for tables but I was very surprised at how fast we got seated and how quickly we got our food. They also offer plenty of fresh bakery items at the front.

    Serendipity.

Let me explain why that feeling came to mind today after purchasing a meal from this local restaurant.

I've come to Bread Winners oftentimes due to work and I tend to suggest this spot to clients as it gives you many options from healthy to yummy unique baked goods. Everytime I walk into this restaurant my eyes are glued to the huge cinnamon rolls and various desert options offered. From cakes to cookies to muffins and all! Looks delicious and it tastes amazing.

Well, today was just like any other ordinary day for me. I drive down from Aubrey to work in Dallas and you know, the commute is long. The one thing I dread is the parking situation at this location but luckily there's a valet service offered in the back side.

As I pull in, and hand my keys to a nice gentleman, I head over unto the restaurant to pick up my order before I run off to the airport to pick up some clients. I stood in front of the register and a young, short woman (much like myself) seemed busy clicking away. I was patient, I waited about 5 minutes or so. No complaints! But I did bare in mind the fact I had an airport run soon but before I spoke up, another woman, taller, asked if I had been helped. Much to her surprise I wasn't, and she took care of me immediately!

She made me feel happy, and I even ordered one of their pumpkin cream cheese muffins as a treat and well, to MY surprise she gifted me the muffin because I had waited so long! I didn't complain, I didn't say anything about waiting... Nothing! But out of the kindness of her heart she gave me something to make up for the lost time. This right here is what I call serendipity.

This woman has turned my day much more positive!

Besides the great customer service, I always order their combo of soup and Salad. Their rotisserie chicken and avocado salad is amazing! It feels super healthy and delicious, I recommend it.

The tomato soup is creamy and thick which is the way to go imo.

The pumpkin cheese cream muffin hits the spot with the spices and the subtle tangy-ness of the cheese.

Overall great spot to grab brunch or lunch!
